''' Audi P'n'P and automatic transmission ''' Is there a known issue with automatic transmissions ? When I engage forward gears (D,1,2,3) the engine stops suddenly. As if you dump the clutch on a manual car, with the engine at idle and brakes fully engaged. Reverse gear is not an issue, it is however very difficult to only drive in reverse gear... * Audi S6 Avant Q -96 * ECU # 8719 (AAN PnP) * Firmware 1.2.27 The engine and car is completely stock and the config was copied from another stock late S6 that I tuned. This engine starts up and works as it should. There is a DEFA alarm system wired in the car. Could it have an dependancy on the original ECU? Could it control the lockup function of the automatic gearbox? If it's any help I disconnected the battery for a week before I did the VEMS install. The car was driven to me and worked just fine when it arrived. I will reverse the installation tomorrow, but would appreciate any clues.
