The board powers up! and i have LCD and keyboard, and some of the sensors seem to be working properly. Although I'm having an issue with the rs232 port. I confirmed wiring, and even double checked the jumpers on the board - but i still don't have a connection. I'm testing the board using MegaTune. Can somebody offer some suggestions on what to do? replace the maxim chip? Wouldn't the serial port need to be working for initial programming after the bootloader was installed? Thanks! Solved - for whatever reason, i was able to upgrade the firmware using megaloader and the serial problem was solved.
