Visit Preferences to set your user name Summary of change: :) first time i work with WIKI, well see how this works out My plan is to run VEMS V3.3 fully integrated on the stock harness. Vems will be atached through a short adapter harness. the only stock sensor that I'm npt going to use is the stock HALL.. I will install a 36-1 trigger from Ford, on the crank. Here is a picture of the powerplant. http://www.vetteforum.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=1138&d=1087455785 The current problem i have now is that i don't have any idea how to attach the IAC motor to VEMS. Here is a picture of the IAC, the left one http://www.megasquirt.info/ms2/GMIAC.jpg And the pinout is the bottom one in this picture http://www.megasquirt.info/ms2/ewIAC.gif * Seems like a standard stepper. Channel assignments: ** coil1: stepper A and B ** coil2: stepper C and D There are 2 possibilities for direction (good or reverse). It can be tested with mdi.. command (mdi01 .. mdiff for min to max forced iac position. mdi00 is automatic PID control). if it's reverse, it can be corrected with a wiring change or in config: iac_step_sequence ( See MembersPage/MarcellGal/EngineSwap/AirFeed for old but likely appropriate notes) ----------------- Next Question: My HEI module need a +5V signal to work.. If you cut this signal, you can adjust base spark advance. Is it possible to use pin 28 for this, I have no clue what the amp is needed??
