My idea is that to remove 1 tooth, so we'll have a 12-1 toothwheel. You can see here the picture of the wheel at TDC position. I want to remove the tooth that is in a black circrle. What do you think, will it work good? Scope (or soundcard) recording of this trigger is definitely a good idea. If you have a camsync 1 pulse available (even an M8 screw, used with GT101 HALL sensor, see sensors in WebShop), there might be a better solution.
