Visit Preferences to set your user name Summary of change: '''Cranking and CLT warmup settings''' Bit of a puzzle here. After months of working tolerably well, I have broken the starting setup. More precicely, it works for me, but does not work for Nic. She's a bit upset about it because it means I get to drive the car all the time! '''Cold start''' With me: The car cranks on the key, and starts within a couple of revolutions like you'd expect. It then starts to die (the revs drop to about 350 RPM), coughs a bit and then suddenly recovers and idles properly for me. With Nic: The car cranks on the key, and starts within a couple of revolutions like you'd expect. It then starts to die (the revs drop to about 350 RPM), coughs and stalls. It is then reluctant to start (presumably due to flooding). I'd like it to not do the dying thing - any ideas? Likely your TPS habits are different. Let Nic try apply a '''tiny''' bit of throttle only. **I should add that neither of us use ANY throttle at all to start. The likely difference is that she gets up earlier than I do! [add config here] [add Megatune logs of stall and coughs.] '''Hot Start''' This works, but once the car is started, the idle oscillates wildly for about 30 seconds. (If gentle throttle is applied, the oscillations are damped down more quickly.) Any ideas? * lower idle PID I * or lower idle PID I-limit * maybe raise P [add config] [add oscillate logs] I promise to add the log files soon! Need a bit more server space... ---- '''"My car seems to be attempting to get to the AFR in the map during warmup, no matter the temperature."''' Silly mistake on my part. EGO min temperature got set to 00 (FF, right?) when I reflashed the firmware and obviously uploaded an old config file. So the EGO correction algorithm carefully undid any warmup enrichment I had applied... Problem now (easily) solved. ---- Back to MembersPage/DavidBlades Optional: Add document to category: Wiki formatting: * is Bullet list ** Bullet list subentry ...
