My goal is to get my genboard ver. 3.2 running on my VW VR6 turbo GTI! Since the ambient is appr 101 kPa, that is appr. 149 kPa boost. With boost-target > 130 kPa we recommend 400 kPa sensor. * What is the best ignition pickup on my motor. There is a factory crankshaft position sensor and also a camshaft position sensor. ** timing from the crank is generally better because of cambelt sloppiness * What gauge wire should I use in my harness? ** 0.5 mm2, except for some power connections, where 0.75mm2 or 1mm2 is a better idea. *** GND5 signals and +power to the injectors and ignition transformers come to mind. Here is a list of the options I would like to use for the genboard. A Volvo throttle body (the type with the failing TPS appr after 40000km) is already available, so only the docs about used CAN-codes would be enough for that type. If the throttle is operating in its native app, it is possible to capture the CAN-codes, but it might also be hard (it requires initialization, and there are several subsystems of the throttle, at least the TPS and the main actuator).
