Too much overlap in 4500 rpm and onwards. Need to change cam timing to correct. - Install Ibutton reader for immo. - idle air valve ---- For some reason my EGO never enables during driving. Uploaded a log for review. http://www.vems.hu/files/AnttiKo/ ---- Hello AnttiKo, I have reviewed your vemslog: v3.3_u019109-2020.12.10-07.13.31.vemslog, the ego does not enable because the wideband circuit indicates the wideband sensor is not ready for use (meaning either heater or pump control is too far off target to be accurate). Status can be monitored via the isO2Ready Flag in VT, see: http://vems.hu/vt/help/v3/flags/iso2ready.html To determine the root cause of the control problem, please proceed as follows: * in knock sampling settings, change realtime data option to: adc/individual power * take the wideband sensor out of the exhaust in free air * start a vemslog * than start the wideband calibration from tools -> wideband calibration * leave the log running for a few minutes until the wideband has fully heated up and pump control is active. * stop the log and publish it in your FileArea (linking here) for review. * you can change back knock sampling settings, realtime data option to previous setting. I will review and get back to you with my findings Best regards, Dave ---- Just uploaded the new log v3.3_u019109-2020.12.18-13.13.59.zip I also calibrated the sensor again. It was out of spec. Test ran the car after the calibration, but the WBO ready flag did not light up. BR Antti ----- Hello Antti, I have reviewed your vemslog v3.3_u019109-2020.12.18-13.13.59.vemslog and spotted a problem, the heater control is railed at zero after pump activation; meaning somehow the wideband sensor is running too hot, while the ecu is trying to lower the temperature. This could be either wiring or hardware failure. Please proceed with a quick ecu wideband circuit verification test using the steps from GenBoard/Manual/WideBandHardwareTest, most important part is the '''Verify Heater''' section. Its important to verify that: * during ecu powered, engine not running; heater led is off * after wideband controller started via tools->wideband calibration; led starts pulsing. * disable wideband via tools->wideband calibration->stop; led turns off. Please come back to me with your findings so i can help with narrowing down/locating the source of the problem Best regards, DaveDave ---- I found the fault. The cable is grounded all the time. Even when the ec18 cable is removed from the ecu. The error is in my harness Optional: Add document to category: Wiki formatting: * is Bullet list ** Bullet list subentry ...
