Related to ((BMW S50B32 outputs)) We received a device S50B32/v3/13410 ... repair BMW S50B32 output mystery OID 17028 with "ign cyl5 problem". To our surprise, we found that outputs were good (also tested with load), it was a bit puzzling for quite some time. Since the HW actuates all outputs (not having changed anything), the only possibility we can speculate that the home-swapped cyl 5 ignch6 IGBT legs (bent incorrectly when repaired at home) contacted the clamping plate, causing problem... This could even damage an ignition coil if not sufficiently protected by fuse. ---- However, this does not explain IAC output issue, since IAC output atuates properly. ---- * No project page was referred (please refer, update this if there is a page already) * No measurements were detailed * vemslog/config normally sent before sending the device (was not). ** Config was saved from the device sent for repair/upgrade.
