Als control Advanced AntiLagSystem
- Input channel: Specify ALS activation switch. Use onboard connector (SDA) or A/D converter input channel with pullup resistor, and a switch to ground.
- ETC ALS TPS Used: When ETC control is enabled the active ALS TPS variable is selectable either TPS or PPS1. If using the ETC to add the extra air choose PPS1.
- Deactivation time: Time that must elapse within in the ALS control regions before ALS is suspended (ALS turns off). If set to zero ALS will turn on when input activated.
- Deactivation EGT: Maximum exhaust temperature. ALS will be disabled if EGT is over this limit.
- At least one of the above two safety variables MUST be configured, or you might kill the exhaust system!
- Reactivation minimum TPS: After ALS has been suspended TPS must go above this TPS value to be reset and be allowed to re-activate.
- Idle TPS / ALS: When using throttle kicker below this TPS value Idle control is enabled, without throttle kicker use same as Idle control
- ALS IAC position (0 to disable): 0 closed, 255 fully open, the amount the idle control valve is open to allow air to bypass the throttle, normally used when no throttle kicker is used or throttle is not opened.
Fuel enrichment and ignition retarding
- Maximum fuel enrichment: Percentage of fuel enrichment below 'Decrease start TPS'
- Maximum retard: Value to reduce ignition advance below 'Decrease start TPS'
- Decrease Start TPS: Point where max retard is optained
- Decrease End TPS: Point where min retard is optained
- All ALS effects fades out over their specific 'Decrease end TPS'
- ALS Retard RPM1: RPM where retard starts (lower rpm)
- ALS Retard RPM2: RPM where retard reaches maximum (higher rpm)
Spark Cutting
- Maximum cut level: The maximum cut seen at ALS IgnCut2 and Decrease Start TPS
- Decrease Start TPS: Point where max spark cut is optained
- Decrease End TPS: Point where min spark cut is optained
- ALS igncut & retard RPMs: Fade-in (low) RPM ranges. Igncut and retard values below specific rpm1 are zeroed, and over the rpm2, get the full tps based effect.
Throttle Kicker Solenoid
- Throttle kicker solenoid: Set the output channel for the throttle opener solenoid.
Solenoid will be switched on by V3 while ALS is active, but disabled over 'Decrease end TPS', set on retarding.
