Add new symbol descriptor

Add new symbol descriptor submenu

Note: you must open a log, vemscfg or connect an ECU to use the next dialogs.

What is the "symbol descriptor"?
The "symbol descriptor" describes for the VemsTune the real-time value of the symbol.

Includes:

The name which is come from the loaded ini. e.g. rpm
The type of the symbol. e.g. rpm
The title. e.g. "Engine Speed"
The symbol group name

This symbol you can select in the menu as you can see here:

Steps to create a new symbol descriptor:

Open a log, vemscfg or connect an ECU
Open this dialog (View menu/Editors/Add new symbol descriptor)
Select a symbol name
Select a group for this symbol
Select a type
Note for creating new types: you can write anything here. If you want to create a new type, just enter the name here.
The new type will be created, and also will be created a new Gauge Descriptor with this type name. The created gauge descriptor name is made up of: symbol_name+type_name+"Gauge"
Enter a name for the symbol title
Press Create
